Mental Health Consultant

 

Family Service of Greater Baton Rouge is seeking a Mental Health Consultant (MHC) to provide consultation services in collaboration with childcare centers to enhance provision of care to meet the behavioral/emotional needs of children and their families. MHC services are provided for the Tulane Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation Supports and Services (TIKES) program in a seven parish area.

The successful candidate will possess a minimum of a graduate degree in clinical counseling, applied developmental psychology, clinical social work or a closely related field; appropriate licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of Louisiana; and completion of specialized training in mental health or capability to complete training in infant mental health.
