Family Service of Greater Baton Rouge wishes to extend our sincere appreciation to the sponsors, auction donors, honored families and gala attendees for a successful 14th annual Celebrate the Family gala.   Our gala was held at the Old State Capitol on Tuesday, November 13th from 6:30 - 9:00 p.m.  This wonderful event honored five outstanding families in our community and helps to support the many vital programs we provide to the community.  The families honored excel in one or more of the following areas: triumph over adversity, community service, personal faith, or the highest levels of continued love, caring and respect within their family unit.  This year's honored families were:

$10,000 Fantasy Trip Raffle - Congratulations to Mr. tom Kirkpatrick, the winner of our first prize of $10,000 to be spent on the fantasy trip of his choice.  Mr. Kirkpatrick is planning a trip to Russia!  Second prize was a ladies watch from Adler's and third prize was two LSU vs. Arkansas football tickets in the President's box with parking.  Thank you to everyone who participated in this fun raffle!
